Thought it was a great event an opportunity to learn basic watercolor techniques. Sherman was excellent at his instructions and knowledge of paint and paper.

Title or Location: roofs..........a northern landscape
Following an enforced 18 months away from my art I returned to my practice working in watercolour and ink. I work with liminal, architectural and imagined spaces and places within an urban landscape. Using layers my work is an exploration of form, colour and texture aiming to capture the essence of the urban landscape we live in, work in and travel through.

This painting was inspired by a quiet moment in Queenstown, where the lake, boats, and distant hills seemed to dissolve into one another under a soft, changing light.What interested me was not the exact appearance of the place, but the feeling it carried ? a sense of stillness, as if time had briefly slowed down. Title or Location: My backyard
?Spring Fest? - The earth presents beautiful gifts of all sizes, colors, and fragrances after awakening from its long slumber. The most wonderful time of the year is when my backyard has blossoms as pretty as Christmas ornaments. It makes me happy. I love it so much I want to capture it in watercolor!
